A Considered Perspective
on Where Your Company Is Heading
Ravelyn works alongside founders and managing directors of mid-sized companies to examine strategic direction, operating structure, and near-term priorities — without pressure or prescribed answers.
Our Engagements
Three Ways We Work Together
Each engagement is sized and scoped to match where a leadership team actually is — not where a standard proposal assumes they should be.
Strategic Direction Review
A multi-week structured engagement examining current market position, internal capabilities, and three-to-five-year direction. Includes stakeholder interviews, a competitor scan, three scenario paths, and a leadership alignment workshop.
- Up to 10 internal stakeholder interviews
- Written direction document with three scenario paths
- One facilitated leadership alignment workshop
Operating Model Diagnostic
A focused diagnostic that maps decision-making flows, interdepartmental work patterns, and where coordination effort accumulates. Delivered through document review, interviews, and two on-site workshops.
- Operating-model map and friction-point summary
- Prioritised list of practical structural adjustments
- Two on-site working sessions with leadership teams
Quarterly Advisory Retainer
An ongoing relationship with a senior advisor — two scheduled monthly conversations, written commentary on three documents per quarter, and one half-day on-site session per quarter. Suited to leaders who value an outside reading of decisions as they arise.
- Two monthly advisory conversations
- Written commentary on three documents per quarter
- One half-day on-site session per quarter
Why Ravelyn
What We Bring to the Conversation
Advisory work done well is slow to recommend and careful with language. Here is what shapes how we work with every leadership team.
Structured Methodology
Each engagement follows a deliberate process with defined deliverables, so leadership teams know what they will receive and when. No open-ended retainers without clear scope.
Independent Perspective
As an outside party with no stake in the outcome, our advisors can raise questions that internal teams find difficult to articulate — and stay with those questions until they are properly examined.
Mid-Market Focus
Our work is sized for companies with 50–500 staff — organisations complex enough to have genuine coordination challenges but still small enough for a single advisor to add direct value to leadership decisions.
Written Deliverables
Every engagement produces a written document — not just a presentation deck. Direction documents, diagnostic summaries, and advisory notes are drafted to be useful long after the engagement ends.
Engagement Without Pressure
We do not upsell, extend scope, or propose follow-on work unless a client raises it. Our role is to support a decision or a process, then step back cleanly when the work is done.
Thailand Market Familiarity
Our advisors work from Bangkok and have direct experience with the ownership structures, regulatory context, and decision-making norms common to mid-sized Thai and regional businesses.
Start a Conversation
Is There a Decision You Are Quietly Deferring?
Most advisory conversations begin not with a crisis, but with a question that has been sitting unanswered for longer than it should. We are happy to talk through whether a structured engagement would help — without any obligation to proceed.
Common Questions
What People Typically Ask
What size of company is Ravelyn suited to?
Our work is designed for companies with roughly 50 to 500 staff — typically owner-led or founder-run businesses where the leadership team is dealing with genuine strategic or structural questions. Larger enterprises and very early-stage startups tend to need different kinds of support.
How long does a Strategic Direction Review typically take?
Most direction reviews run over four to six weeks from kick-off to the delivery of the written document. The facilitated workshop is usually held in the final week. Timelines can shift depending on the availability of internal stakeholders, but we aim to keep the engagement focused and contained.
What is involved in an Operating Model Diagnostic?
The diagnostic involves reviewing existing organisational documents, conducting focused interviews with department heads and key staff, and running two on-site workshops to surface and verify findings. We then produce an operating-model map and a written summary of structural friction points with a prioritised list of practical adjustments.
What does the Advisory Retainer actually look like month to month?
Each month includes two scheduled conversations — typically 60 to 90 minutes each — where you can bring decisions, documents, or strategic questions as they arise. Over the quarter, we also provide written commentary on up to three documents you share with us, and one half-day on-site session to work through a larger topic in person.
Do you work in Thai as well as English?
Our primary working language is English, and all written deliverables are produced in English. For on-site sessions or interviews, we can accommodate mixed-language conversations where participants prefer Thai, and we work with a senior Thai-language advisor for engagements where that is important to the client.
How do we begin, and what is the first step?
The first step is a 30-minute conversation — either by phone or in person at our Sathorn office — to understand what your company is working through and whether a structured engagement would be a useful contribution. There is no pressure to proceed, and we will say clearly if we think another kind of support would serve you better.
